The sumptuous Broadway musical will head out on its first national tour in 2022.
The hit Broadway masterpiece, Moulin Rouge! The Musical has postponed their first national tour until 2022 it has been announced.
The musical adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's iconic film was set to begin its national tour on November 21 this year but had to postpone performances due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The musical's North American Tour will now kick-off at Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theater on February 26 2022, before heading across the country. Official dates, as well as casting, for the tour's other stops, are yet to be announced.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical is currently nominated for 14 Tony Awards including the nomination for Best Musical. This brand new stage adaptation of the Oscar and Golden Globe award-winning movie features direction by Alex Timbers, a book by John Logan and choreography by Sonya Tayeh.

As Christian and Satine try to stay together against all odds, they are led down a dark and dangerous path, but Satine is holding a terrible secret of her own...
