Why See Pennsylvania Ballet: Messiah?

In time for Easter, Messiah hits the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, PA Closed March 17, 2012

Messiah opens with a full choir on stage in a skeletal rendering of a church. With sun streaming through the bare windows, dancers take the stage in a vivid, dramatic interpretation of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

The ballet portrays the story of Christ without a relgious edge, so even the most secular can enjoy the exquisite dancing.
