Celebrating the partnership of legendary songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Smokey Joe's Cafe is a wonderfully nostalgic journey through 39 of the duo's greatest standards. From the jittery joy of 'Jailhouse Rock', to the die-hard romance of 'Stand By Me', with this Award Winning musical revue is a delightful way to experience the work of some of the 20th century's most lauded tastemakers.

As the co-writers of over 70 chart hits, Leiber and Stoller were the go-to guys in the 1950's pop scene. Working with a varied cast of artists, they are credited with many accolades and also for bringing lavish and emotional production values to the established r&b sound from black artists.
