The TLA, also known as The Fillmore at the Theatre of the Living Arts or Theater of the Living Arts, is a music venue located at 334 South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It is a standing-room-only venue converted from an old single-screen movie theater. It has a capacity of about 810 and is used for smaller concerts.
Its larger cousin, the Electric Factory (a converted electric factory), can hold 2,500 and is also a standing room-only venue located to the north at 421 N. 7th St. at Willow St.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s the TLA was a well known repertory theater screening art house/grind house films in addition to weekly midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
It is currently owned and operated by Live Nation.
