Great show, quiet audience
Katy Perry gave it her last night at Rogers Arena before a sell-out crowd. She worked extra hard, not only because cameras were rolling to record an upcoming movie, but to try to draw out the fans who gave her very little in terms of energy and enthusiasm. While a great many under 10 were attending their first convert, the same must have been true for their parents who did not demonstrate the level of cheering, whistling and hand clapping that Katy deserved. At times, it was downright embarrassing. Katy would bring yet another number to a spectacular climax and lie literally panting on the stage only receive a brief (1or 2 second) response from the crowd and then...crickets. Most people pays hundreds to attend and I had to wonder what this was about. Could it be true that Vancouver doesn’t know how to have fun? Or are we so maxed out of the kind of kaleidoscopic input that Katy provides that we are no longer capable of being moved by it? Great job, Katy. Boo Vancouver.
Katy Perry
Wow what an electric show. Katy was flying high above the crowd several times. Many costume changes. Lots of cool props and a stage that snaked through toward the back of the Arena! Katy put on an awesome show. Mentioning Grand Rapids several times. My 9 yr old daughters first concert! Huge success.
Katy Perry
She put on a amazing show, best concert I have ever been to I will try to get tickets for tonight's show.
Katy Perry amazing concert
Katie Perry's concert was fantastic. So much energy! You saw all ages from 6 year olds to grandparents. She even called her mom live on stage who had evacuated due to the wild fires in California. Her concert is so much more than just her singing. The props, the costumes her engaging with her fans throughout the entire concert is all just amazing. I have to admit I was so disappointed that her concert did not sell out and resorted to tickets being sold on Groupon. Come on Cleveland support these artists. Buy their tickets or next tour they will skip Cleveland.
Its a strange kids show
Toothbrush and toothpaste chasing Katy Parry on stage is not what I expected ... rest of the show was more of the same...
