The Southern-fired rock superstars Kings of Leon headline
Philadelphia's 104.5 radio station has been playing the best in alternative rock for decade now, and to celebrate their anniversary they're throwing two huge birthday bash concerts, this one on May and the other in June.
Formed of the Followill boys, Kings of Leon have grown from indie music darlings to world conquering superstars over the course of seven albums, the latest of which was 2016's Walls. Leading off with the thunderous rattling opener 'Waste a Moment' and closing with the widescreen, sweeping title track, Walls was the perfect summation of all the band's best qualities, and found the group tighter than ever after a period of inter-band tension. Also on the bill are Bastille ('Pompeii', 'Send them Off!') and Empire of the Sun ('We Are the People', 'Alive').
