About Taking Back Sunday

Formed in 1999 by guitarist Eddie Reyes and bassist Jesse Lacey. Known for their emotionally charged lyrics and dynamic sound, the band has seen numerous lineup changes over the years, with lead vocalist Adam Lazzara, guitarist and vocalist John Nolan, and bassist Shaun Cooper serving as core members, supported by additional musicians for live performances.

Their 2002 debut album, Tell All Your Friends, established them as a prominent act in the early-2000s emo scene, while subsequent albums like 2006’s Louder Now expanded their reach, producing hits such as "MakeDamnSure" and achieving high positions on the Billboard 200. Over two decades later, Taking Back Sunday remains a key figure in alternative rock and emo, blending heartfelt songwriting with energetic performances, and continues to release new music, including their most recent studio album.
