Why See Cirque De La Symphonie?
A UNIQUE COLLABORATION BETWEEN CIRCUS ARTISTRY AND CLASSICAL MUSIC
Cirque de la Symphonie is a fusion of the magic of circus arts and the classic music hall.
Artists include the most amazing veterans of exceptional cirque programs throughout the world- aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers and strongmen, all set to the soaring background of your favorite classical music masterpieces, and more contemporary sounds conducted by YOUR city's very own maestro and orchestra!
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?
The multi-national cast are handpicked from athletes, record-breaking formers Olympians and students of circus artistry. With performances uniquely adapted to sharing stage space with each city's respective symphony orchestra, each act is choreographed to the music arranged in collaboration with the conductor! Far from being a staid and serious affair, what you get instead is an explosion of movement and music that compliments each other and captivates new fans of each medium. The music sounds more alive as acrobats swoop over the heads of the orchestra, and the performances take on new dramatic heights thanks to the musical accompaniments; all in all it is a unique experience for patrons of classical music and newcomers alike.
