Why See Call Your Girlfriend?

Special EventsPodcast Live

Crack open the red, Aminatou Sow & Ann Friedman are in town!

In 2014, two besties sought to cross the distance that separated them by setting up a weekly call in which they discussed everything from Trump-era politics to workplace drama and their menstrual cycles. Little did Aminatou Sow and Ann Friedman know at the time, but the recordings of their long-distance dish sessions would become a hit podcast series with hundreds of thousands of fans, evolving to include interviews with inspiring and empowered women making waves in their industries, as well as everyday experiences and triumphs of non-famous ladies.

Call your best gal pal, because the dynamic duo and producer Gina Delvac are bringing their enlightening, wine-fuelled discussion to the stage for the strictly limited Shine Theory Tour of North America this fall. Featuring a host of special guests, Call Your Girlfriend merch and non-recorded 'live-only' segments, the show's hosts are witty, intelligent and up-to-scratch on current events, wether they be highbrow or lowbrow... Past guests include New York Times reporter Jenna Wortham, Brooklyn 99 actress Stephanie Beatriz, columnist Heather Havrilesky and blog royalty Tavi Gevinson.
