Why See An Evening With Groucho?

An amazing Tribute

One of America's greatest wits is reborn on stage in Frank Ferrante's hilarious one man show. Sporting tails, a cigar and that unmistakable greasepaint moustache, Ferrante absolutely captures Grouch's stage presence and his electric comic mind. The show itself is a whirlwind hour and a half, packed full of Groucho's most famous one liners ("One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know."), skits and songs, with Ferrante accompanied by an onstage pianist. He's also an incredible improviser, employing plenty of audience participation to produce some ad-libbed comic gems.

A great show for all the family, An Evening with Groucho is a clean and inclusive burst of hilarity, and will no doubt inspire everyone in the audience to try out their best Groucho as soon as the curtain comes down. Catch Ferrante when he plays Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA, Closed February 27, 2017.
