The Adventurous Ivy and Bean Take to the Stage

An endearing tale about an unlikely friendship comes to the stage as Annie Barrows exciting Ivy and Bean series becomes a musical. Friends Ivy and Bean are usually causing trouble on their fun filled adventures depicted in Barrows books, and now will fill the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia.

Mischief and adventures shape the lives of quiet and clever Ivy and lively and wild Bean. Their wonderful stories together are the true definition of opposites attracting each other. Ivys amazing ideas and determination to become a witch one day are spurred on by Beans initiative and rebellious nature which can be seen with them fighting off ghosts, rescuing each other from babysitters and learning to ballet dance together.

Author Annie Barrows has been writing childrens stories since 2003 and has been nominated for eight writing awards throughout her career. The Ivy and Bean books are her most noted works.
