The River Tour

35 years ago Bruce Springsteen released his fifth record The River, a rich double album that married dark lyrical themes with Springsteen's typical knack for hard rocking tunes. 2015 saw a treat for The Boss' fans with the release of The Ties That Bind, a mammoth collection of outtakes from The River era, and in 2016 they get another, when Bruce and The E Street Band head out on The River tour.

They'll be playing the 1980 record front to back, from 'The Ties That Bind' to 'Wreck on the Highway', as well as other choice cuts from one of rock's greatest back catalogues, such as 'Born to Run', Dancing in the Dark' and 'Thunder Road'.
