AJ Ghent's makes a guitar sound human
Have you ever heard a guitar sing like it's one of the world's most soulful vocalists? Guitarist AJ Ghent has an incredible knack for playing the guitar in a way no one else does, using a slide to make the guitar quite literally sing, howl and croon in an uncanny manner that really does sound like a human voice. But it's not just a gimmick; the music created is some of the most calming you can hear, and many who have listened and seen him live call it a truly healing experience.
Born into a family of lap steel guitarists, AJ Ghent is the son of Aubrey Ghent Sr. and the grandson of Henry Nelson, two renowned musicians whose work has influenced the lap steel players of today, not to mention AJ's. With credits with the Allman Brothers and a solo output which includes a Billboard No.7 album, don't miss this unique guitarist on tour!
