Shanghai Nights

Recognised as one of the most accomplished acrobatic troupes in the world, the Shanghai Acrobats of the Republic People's of China have been dazzling audiences with their incredible feats for over 50 years. The group have been touring the world over since the early 1980s, playing a major part in introducing Americans and Europeans to the concepts of Chinese acrobatics and artistry. In the US they've performed alongside both The Ringling Bros. circuses and Cirque Du Soleil.

In 2016, they present their newest show - Shanghai Nights. It tells the story of a boy who encounters all manner of mystical creatures in a dream world. Expect Shanghai Acrobats' usual mix of trapeze artists, gymnasts, tight-rope walkers, plate spinners and much much more, all lavishly costumed and set to authentic Chinese folk music.
