Relive The Golden Age of Rock With the Philly Pops

Who knew an orchestra could rock with the best of them!? This rocking and rolling concert primarily features the music of The Eagles, Journey and Fleetwood Mac, as well as hits from other bands of the 70s and 80s, performed by Philly's very own Pops Orchestra. Extra special guest musicians Micah and Lori Wilshire, and guitarist Schem Von Schroeck round out the bill for an evening of songs from the golden era of rock.

Husband and wife duo Micah and Lori met whilst both session musicians in the country heartland of Nashville in the early 90s. Their musical union produced popular band Wilshire as well as a marriage, and they caught the attention of Christian music mogul Michael W. Smith, signing to his label Rocketown Records in 1997. Nowadays they continue to perform with artists like Seal and Train, as well as record music for TV and film.
