Mr. Popper, a humble painter and decorator, dreams of adventures in the Antarctic. Until one morning he receives a cool surprise! A crate arrives and out waddles his very own penguin - courtesy of the great explorer Admiral Drake. One penguin soon expands into a family of penguins and before he knows it Mr. Popper has many extra mouths to feed. On a tight household budget he has only one resolution, to train his penguins to perform and take their show on the road.
