The gravel-voiced 2012 Idol winner wowed with his debut record, 'The World From The Otherside Of The Moon', and got over the jump from reality star to legit folkster with sophomore outing 'Beyond The Light'. Now writing and recording his third album, he's heading out on a co-headling tour with folk veteran and 'Come on Get Higher' singer Matt Nathanson.

Phillips has had a busy few years in the spotlight, launching himself head-first into writing, recording and performing, drawing welcome parallels with his hero, Dave Matthews.

In contrast, Matt Nathanson has been steadily releasing folk-rock infused jams since 1993's Please. This year, prepare to hear material old and new, including from his 11th record 'Show Me York Fangs'!
