The Glenn Miller Orchestra has been consistently touring since forming in 1938 when band leader Glenn mixed up the usual arrangement of instruments of a classic dance band, went big on brass section, added saxaphones and clarinets, and made arrangements that have become classics to this day.  Instantly this new sound made Glenn Miller the biggest name in show business in the world in just four short years before his untimely death in a plane crash in war-torn Europe.

His lasting gift to the world was the band's unique sound and arrangements that captured a moment in time that will last forever.
