DON’T LISTEN TO THE HATERS HERE: LRB WAS GREAT!

I saw LRB last night at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs…what a show! They were impeccable—great vocals from EVERY member of the band, lots of engagement with the audience, all the favorites and a couple of new songs, fast, energetic, perfect pacing and the music was incredible! They were one of my favorite bands way back in college in the 70s and I was not one bit disappointed. Besides, Wayne has been with LRB since 1980–maybe not an “original” member but certainly enough history and longevity to take them a bit beyond being a “tribute band.” Ditto with Chris. I think we all understand what happened over the years and how this band kept the rights to the name. Anyway, they were great. My millennial son went with me and he was really impressed as well.

THESE GUYS WERE VERY GOOD

I was missing Shorrock too and the horn on Reminiscing, but these guys really brought it last night! Superb guitars and vocals from all the guys, never hear guitar players all have great vocals. Very engaged with the audience which got the crowd dancing and we were encouraged to come up near the stage. Beautiful, small venue, The Paramount Theater in Anderson, Indiana.

LRB .......NOT!

I should have done my homework, but didn't. The band members, though talented, are Not the original members. They may own the rights to the name, LRB, but is nothing more than a Tribute band. Glad it was for a good cause, but not the Real Deal, and certainly not worth my $75. If you have the chance to see them, understand the facts.

VOCALS VERY LACKING…

Saw LRB 9/24/2021 at Humphrey’s in San Diego for my wife’s birthday. As it turned out the lead singer’s family including his grand kids sat directly in front of us. Not gonna sugar coat this. The actual singing was NOT good.. If you are going to hear their hits hoping to hear close versions of the original songs its not happing. This was a tribute band trying to emulate the “real” hits. Very disappointing. My wife who likes every concert we attend said “at least we can remember them on the CDs”. I regret not doing my homework prior to purchasing our tickets. If you like tribute bands you will have a good time. If you do not, break out your vinyl or CDs.

I FEEL LIKE THE LONESOME LOSER

This is nothing but a tribute band. None of the original members are with this so-called version of LRB. The music was good but the vocals were pretty sad. The people that were enjoying this concert were the ones that were very drunk trying to dance in the aisle. The 2021 version of LEB has one member who actually played in the band back in the day. While the guys in the group are decent they are not even close (vocal wise) to what the original band with Glen Schrrock sounded like. I really thought that Humphrey’s had higher standards pertaining to who they brought to their beautiful venue. I will definitely do my homework next time before I purchase tickets. My fault for not checking but I really thought Humphrey’s could be trusted.

FRAUDULENT

Good players, good harmonies - the lead singer/bass player just didn't have the vocals to cover the beautiful melodies. None of these guys are the original players - wish I'd known that before spending $150 on tickets. Pacing of concert was not good - we didn't come to hear your "new music." It took WAY too long to get to the greatest hits. We left early when the lead singers voice really started to falter.

NOT WHAT I REMEMBER

I'm really not a HATER as Amee writes. I was at the show in Colorado Springs and was very dissapointed. The reason is that I saw them 25 years ago and they were truley great. This really is a tribute band and not the Little River Band that i remember.
