As other have posted REO put on a great
show. Sadly Chicago played their Chicago II
album for the first half of their set and
bombed. The last 45 minutes they finally
played some of their hits. I’m glad I found
previous reviews before arriving so we sat in
the club bar and watched baseball until the
second half of their show.
Chicago change your set list. Give fans what
they come for.

REO SPEEDWAGON AND CHICAGO CONCERT
REO gave the fans what they came for: their hits. Somehow Chicago missed this memo;
the first hour of their show was terrible, and fans were shouting, "Play something we
know!" Both bands played with good energy and sounded good. Suggestion for Chicago:
it's not too late to change your set list.

REO/CHICAGO
REO put on a high energy show, all the hits and they seemed to really enjoy playing
together. Chicago was a snoozer, left after 50 minutes.

THE NIGHT CHICAGO DIED? HOPE THEY HAVEN'T JUMPED THE SHARK!
Saw 2018 REO/Chicago concert at Allstate Arena, IL. Been a Chicago fan since 1969 and see them every summer. On this night, my fandom was seriously injured. REO brought it, albeit a deafening volume at times. Crowd was standing and loud after REO set. Chicago's two sets had no positive flow, newer members didn't click artistically, show was boring and disjointed. Big screen graphics and historical references badly overpowering. We sat main floor back, next to the sound mixers. The sound/acoustics were bad, some ear-splitting reverb and even the sound techs shook their heads. We saw droves of people leave early and I was shocked. Some were likely REO fans but never have I seen that before. At the end the remaining fans had no enthusiasm, no noise, no nothing, just numb! No interest in an encore and total disbelief! We really hope it's not the end of an era. Please Chicago re-think your sets/performance/artistry/video graphics/sound and get back to being the best band in the land.

REO AWESOME, CHICAGO TERRIBLE!
REO was awesome, played their hits and got the
crowd going, would definitely see them again.
Chicago was terrible, the crowd was bored, just sitting
there staring, many people left. Why not play the
songs people came to hear? As the people that stuck
it out to the end were leaving, all we heard was
comments on REO was great, Chicago sucked.

CHICAGO SUCKED
So disappointing with the Chicago concert. People go to see a concert to hear the band's favourites, not unknown songs. They have so many great hits but I left before they were played, if at all. Don't waste your money.

REO AND CHICAGO @ GREAT WOODS
REO was a little loud but overall GREAT !! Chicago on
the other hand.... complete rip off... had I known they
were gonna play the WHOLE Chicago 2 album I would
definitely not have gone... only 2 songs were from
greatest hits... most people gone by then... plus the
visuals were not that good
