The Weezersance Continues
Following 'Everything Will Be Alright In the End' and 'The White Album', Weezer look to continue their renaissance with their eleventh album, 'Pacific Daydream'. Catch River and Co. playing their hit material, alongside all the classics, at The Met Philadelphia!
Released in May 1994, Weezer's Blue Album shook American alt rock free of its mourning for the end of grunge and took things in a new, brighter direction. Bursting with hooks, surf music harmonies and pop culture references, tracks like 'Buddy Holly' and 'Undone (The Sweater Song)' turned Weezer into everyone's favorite rock nerds. Thoughout the 00s though, it seemed Weezer may be losing their touch, with a string of releases that failed to connect with their old fanbase.
Rivers and Co. came roaring back to life in 2014 with Everything Will Be Alright in the End, a gloriously melodic return to form, and a lyrical reconciliation with any fans they may have lost along the way. The Weezersance continued with 2016s White Album, and with Pacific Daydream's single 'Feels Like Summer' topping the alternative chart, it seems like there's no stopping Weezer now.
