The band, who met at school, got their musical start by busking in New York's subways and even being kicked out by the NYPD for encouraging travelers to dance at the edge of the platform. The son of the late, great Bob Marley has had to prove to his detractors not to be riding his father's coat-tails, and has as a result carved out a successful career in reggae for himself. As a child, he was a keen sportsman, and was unaware of his musical abilities until his mother, table tennis champion Anita Belnavis encouraging him to take guitar and trumpet lessons. Fast forward to today and Marley has successfully proven himself a musician that crosses genres, from reggae, dancehall, hip hop and R'n'B. With six studio albums under his belt, his latest Maestro was released in June 2015.
