The Merry Widow is based on the original - and hugely popular - operetta by Franz Lehar. It tells the story of Hanna Glawari, a French widow who has received an enormous inheritance from her late husband, and the various men who subsequently try to woo her. This ballet, choreographed by Ronald Hynd, has become his most famous work, being performed by prestigious ballet companies the world over. Be prepared for a magical night of dance and romance!
