SISTER'S NIGHT OUT

I had watched Beauty and The Beast on March 17th.I enjoyed the play, I was a bit confused because I did not read the book and there were parts that I never seen. I love that all the characters voices were like the ones in the movie, except the beast. I did not like the beast, he was week and a bite annoying. He nailed the spoiled prince part, but not the strong loud beast. LOVED Bell. The people working inside were very rude, the lady that directed us to our seats was the rudest of them all. Hated that I had to pay 12 dollars for parking, no one was there to direct us where parking was available. We serched for 10 mins and ended up parking on the very top.

LOVELY SHOW, BUT DISAPPOINTED

I'm a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, to the point I practically have the show memorized. I'll admit I'm obsessed. I had to see a show for a theater class I'm in & ended up paying $65 for a seat in the very back of the theater with all the fees. I couldn't see well as I was the 3rd row from the back. Bring binoculars if you sit on the back balcony. But the most disappointing thing was that they cut 2 songs and my favorite line. They didn't sing "Maison Des Lunes" which was very disappointing as the dialogue used to replace it was lame. I can understand why they cut "No Matter What" but it still made me sad. They also skipped a line at the end of Gaston's song "Me" He proposes to Belle, singing this pompous, self-absorbed song that ends with Belle saying "I just don't deserve you" "Who does?" is his response. Belle's next line was cut: But thanks for asking! *door slam* I don't know why they cut it, but it made me sad. Was sad that I paid so much to see it. But the orchestra was amazing

GREAT SINGING

i thought the story line was great and the singing was great. I thought the costumes were horrible they looked low budget and cheaply made. i did not like the props either I think they could of came up with better props on stage. Bell and Gaston were the best actors in the show they really make the musical come to life. I was very disappointed that the second half was so short i felt like it was almost rushed. I have seen other musicals at this venue and was blown out of the water. I was really excited and looking forward to this show but was disappointed in the props and costume selections you would of thought that Bells main yellow dress would of been out of this world. I was not impressed the little girls that were dressed up in Bell costumes had better dress then this performance.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

I've seen the play previously and I found myself disapointed in this production. The cast had great voices but I felt the fault was more in the direction. Kids will still love it but I had a hard time staying awake.

DISAPPOINTED

My absolute favorite Disney movie and I saw Beauty and the Beast about 20 years ago at the Ahmanson Theatre and it was amazing! I was so excited to see it again at the Pantages but was very disappointed in a couple things. First thing we were waiting in our seats and wanted to take a couple selfies and the ushers shut that down right away. They were rude and said Disney didn't allow it? Not a problem but don't be rude. Also felt that Gaston was made to be such a joke or cartoon like. Also Gaston should be a big burly guy. They could have done better getting someone suitable for this part. The stage was mediocre, the castle, houses, flimsy and not what I expect of the Pantages. I paid big $$ for our tickets and I expect the Pantages to put on a great show, very disappointed. And finally at the worst time possible, right when the spell was broken and the beast transformed back to a man the curtain fell. Yes the curtain came down. Overall very disappointed.
