THE ADDAMS FAMILY

I am not very big on musicals but this is a must see!!!! The cast is fantastic, the sets are well done and the Acting is top-notch! I especially loved the Ancestors! My family had a great time - we would love to see it again!

LOVED IT!

I had some doubts going into the theater - I mean really, how could they adapt the weird Addams Family to a musical? But without even trying to overtly mimic the tv show, or squeeze in all of the quirky bits (no Thing? no exploding train set?!) they did an amazing job. The sets weren't that great, but it didn't matter - the show was genuinely funny, and everyone was laughing from start to finish. The actor who played Gomez was terrific, and quick to play off the audience, and Uncle Fester was a surprising highlight in an odd scene (perfect!) reminiscent of the silent film era. The standing ovation was well deserved at the end.

There is great talent in this touring company! Gomez and Uncle Fester were stand outs for me. There were a few minor changes from New York, but it did not hurt the show at all. If you are a fan of the old show you will love it, if you are new to it, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. It will knock you dead!!

A BIT DISAPPOINTED`

Disappointment that I felt there was too much "away" from the actual Adams Family TV series. Also, language for "family" and the references to currents events like "Obama Care". Felt it was not classified as "family".

GREAT!

I was one of those who liked this show on Bdwy. The touring version of the show has been revised to great effect. I loved the cast. Act 1 was OK, but Act 2 was wonderful all the way through. Disregard anybody who gives any show 1* or 5*****. As with most shows, this one lies somewhere in the middle, and definitely good value for the money.
