AMAZING PERFORMANCE!

The entire cast of the show did an amazing job! The night that we were there, the role of Elvis was played by the understudy. Chris Fitting did an incredible job of playing such an iconic role! The story itself touched on many highs and lows of Elvis's life from childhood to the height of his career and left me wanting more.

FUN SHOW

The supporting cast was great in the show it's a super fun ensemble with lots of talent. The guy who played Elvis could have been better, but it’s a cotton candy musical for sure, and he didn't ruin the show by any means

LIKE THE MOVIE

My wife and I have recently enjoyed learning the history and music of Elvis. We saw the movie and this seems to be reflective of the movie. It's a bit darker than what we expected. The flashback scenes, while appropriate, seemed confusing. The actors and production values were top notch, as normal. But overall, not the best show at the WST. The theater was surprisingly empty (Sunday of preview week).

5 STARS

I would not recommend that anyone see this show. The staging was very good but the casting of Elvis was terrible. He did not sound enough like Elvis. His voice should have been a little deeper but the worst part was he sang with hardly any southern drawl. Skip it

WOULD SEE AGAIN!

Being such an ambitious biopic of one of the most iconic performers of all time- I have to commend the entire Elvis cast and crew. The structure and certain story choices in show are not what I expected, but the performers and production value is astounding. It’s quite a spectacle. The performer playing Elvis was incredible. He embodied the role without imitating which I imagine is quite difficult. I recommend seeing this show

SOLID ENOUGH TRIBUTE SHOW

I went into the show with no expectations as I was only in Philadelphia for a quick work trip and was staying next-door to the theater. It was solid enough as a tribute show for Elvis's catalogue. The wardrobe was probably the most impressive part. The crowd was fairly dead, and some of the songs could have been enhanced by a better Elvis performance, but overall I had fun.

PRETTY GOOD SHOW!

Enjoyable night out in Philly! Nothing too serious, none of the Elvis lowlights, just the hits. The show is also pretty short, so easy to catch after a dinner out on the town.
